Affiliation Agreement reached with the PHL

The CAJHL is pleased to announce it has reached a working agreement with the Premier Hockey League (PHL).

The PHL is a youth hockey League with a high commitment to practice, and full ice development for highly skilled young players. PHL President Kelly Bruce states "We're looking to add more teams to our league for the upcoming season. We're hoping to have around 50 teams in our league-we're super pumped about how we've grown! This agreement will allow our eligible players to continue their hockey careers at the Junior level".

CAJHL President, Bryan Brown, says, "This is a fantastic agreement between our two leagues. It allows the CAJHL to affiliate players and it provides the PHL players an opportunity to play at the Junior A level. Much like the PHL, the CAJHL will continue to grow and develop. The addition of new teams in CAJHL will follow a strong vetting process to ensure that we have great ownership in place with individuals that are focused on the development and advancement of their players. Having this partnership with the PHL, will help in continuing to build a great program for all involved."

The agreement will continue to evolve and talks with PHL President Bruce Kelly about a Combine, for eligible players (2006 and above), are being had for late summer. Further details will be announced as they are finalized.
